Pioneering Visual Identity and Web/Mobile UX/UI Launch
for Owl Magazine
As a freelance art director, I was responsible for leading the design and branding efforts for Owl Magazine - a non-profit digital publication that showcases emerging Korean artists, curators, and art critics. My main goal was to create a cohesive brand identity that effectively showcased the talents and insights of the featured individuals.
To achieve this, I designed a website and mobile platform that offered a visually engaging and user-friendly experience for visitors. For the website, I decided to focus on creating a dynamic and engaging homepage that provided users with a fun experience to showcase their artistic talents. Additionally, I prioritized usability throughout the rest of the website, ensuring a seamless experience for site visitors and ease of use for the client team responsible for adding stories regularly.
By emphasizing both user experience and client usability, I aimed to create a platform that effectively highlights the creativity and insights of young Korean artists, curators, and art critics featured in Owl Magazine.
